ABOUT THE ART

Halley Seely's practice crosses figurative abstraction, nonrepresentational abstraction, acrylic painting, water coler, pencil sketches, and mixed media...

Her portfolio moves from vivid, playful color, into surreal imagry, layered surfaces, to quieter works on paper. Rather than treat those shifts as contradictions, this site presents them as different expressions of a wide-ranging practice.
